Immerse yourself in the traditions of tamale making in Oaxaco, Mexico! Join Adelina Machuca, a native of this beautiful region of southern Mexico, for a 8-hour, 2-part workshop where you’ll learn everything about tamales, including working with masa, creating fillings, wrapping, & producing sauces as an accompaniment. Mmm! Have fun in The Gifted Kitchen’s state-of-the-art space while making new friends, acquiring simple & helpful techniques, and gaining valuable hands-on experience!
Additionally, embark on an adventure of regional cooking with Adelina in future classes where you’ll learn to make different types of authentic foods like salsas, pupusas, refried beans, Hispanic rice, taquitos, enchiladas & more! Cancellation Policy

We depend on your enrollment for a successful class! Please plan your schedule carefully. Refunds are not issued when your request is less than 5 business days before the starting date of the class, and credits cannot be applied to a future class. Refund requests must be made in writing, via email, prior to 5 business days before the class start date. A $5 processing fee per activity for each person will be assessed. Sorry no refunds after 5 business days prior to the class start date. This is due to financial commitments we must make before activities begin. Refunds take approximately 7-10 days to process.
