“Chef it Up” 8-Week Cooking Series
8-Week Series - Thursdays, July 7, 2022 thru August 25, 2022 - 4 to 6 pm, Ages 8-12 Calling all budding chefs! Let's gather weekly for a mind-blowing 8-week cooking series! We'll cover everything from food/kitchen safety & knife skills to soups, sauces and desserts. Learn to be a kitchen rock star! We're looking for positive attitudes and whole-hearted commitments as we increase culinary skills, techniques, and creativity. Serious foodies only! Week #1 - Thursday, July 7 - Food Safety & Knife Skills Week #2 - Thursday, July 14 - Egg Cookery Week #3 - Thursday, July 21 - Salads & Dressings Week #4 - Thursday, July 28 - Fruits & Vegetables Week #5 - Thursday, August 4 - Starches & Grains Week #6 - Thursday, August 11 - Soups & Sauces Week #7 - Thursday, August 18 - Meat & Fish Week #8 - Thursday, August 25 - Desserts Please bring your apron. The journey begins with the warm inviting scent of mulling spice apple cider bouquets. Next, everyone will create apple sensations from salad to entrée and of course dessert. Finally, the night wraps up with scented dried apple peel bows and maybe some new apple traditions in your family. -

Tuesday, January 11, 2022 - 4 to 6 pm. Ages 6-12 Join Chef Cathie and gain lots of confidence in the kitchen as you travel the world this year and visit a new country each month. In January, you will stop in Ireland and make Irish soda bread, Irish stew and more. Your "traveling taste buds" will be in for a real treat over the next twelve months!
