All You Need is Love (and Cookies)
Friday, February 10, 2023 6 pm - 9 pm Ages 18 and up $10 supply fee (cash due to instructor the night of class) Love is in the air at The Gifted Kitchen! Please join us for a fun evening of cookie decorating! This class is designed for a beginner who wants to learn the basics of cookie decorating with royal icing. Lisa Yakovich, a cookier with over ten years of experience, will guide you through every step. You will get five (plus extras) cookies to decorate, all in a Valentine’s Day theme. Everything will be provided: cookies, icing, decorations, tools, examples to see and taste, printed recipes, and cute white bakery boxes to take your creations home. We always have a lot of fun, and you will surprise yourself with how beautiful your cookies will look. Adults and children twelve and over (with paid adults) are welcome. An Irresistible Irish Evening
Friday, 15 March 2025, 6:00-9:00 PM Pacific time Adults 18 and over Connor Smith is back in our kitchen just in time for St. Patrick's Day! Join him and learn how to make three Irish dishes that work perfectly together for a delicious, hearty meal. This incredible menu will consist of: shepherd’s pie, potato farls, and cabbage with bacon. Students will create a quicker weeknight version of shepherd’s pie, but will still be taught how to make the traditional all-day fare. Inspiration will be given for using farls in your everyday breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacking culinary adventures. And the cabbage...it will not be boring! Tuesday, November 16th, 6:30 - 9:00 pm Ages 18+ Please join Vanessa Westmoreland as she shares apple traditions from beverage to bow! The journey begins with the warm inviting scent of mulling spice apple cider bouquets. Next, everyone will create apple sensations from salad to entrée and of course dessert. Finally, the night wraps up with scented dried apple peel bows and maybe some new apple traditions in your family. -

Tuesday, January 11, 2022 - 4 to 6 pm. Ages 6-12 Join Chef Cathie and gain lots of confidence in the kitchen as you travel the world this year and visit a new country each month. In January, you will stop in Ireland and make Irish soda bread, Irish stew and more. Your "traveling taste buds" will be in for a real treat over the next twelve months!
