You’re in for a real treat with this cooking class taught by Josefa “Josie” Wells! Frikadellen is a German-inspired dish, also very popular in Alsace Lorraine, France. Josie grew up close to the French border and noticed this different kind of burger was very popular in France as well as in Germany. The original French name is “fricandel.” For this class, it will be served with sauteed mushrooms & colorful sweet peppers along with either steamed potatoes or “spatzle,” a German-type pasta. Slow cooked tri-color carrots prepared in olive oil is another delicious option. A taste of kombucha, a fermented drink, known to aid digestion, will also be served. For dessert, you’ll enjoy chocolate or vanilla wafers made in Germany. Guten appetit!

Cancellation Policy

We depend on your enrollment for a successful class! Please plan your schedule carefully. Refunds are not issued when your request is less than 5 business days before the starting date of the class, and credits cannot be applied to a future class. Refund requests must be made in writing, via email, prior to 5 business days before the class start date. A $5 processing fee per activity for each person will be assessed. Sorry no refunds after 5 business days prior to the class start date. This is due to financial commitments we must make before activities begin. Refunds take approximately 7-10 days to process.
