Get ready for your Fourth of July celebrations and festivities through cookie creativity! Come join us at The Gifted Kitchen and learn the fun art of cookie decorating with royal icing! This is a beginner class with no experience necessary. It is also helpful to those who have dabbled in decorating, but need more practice. This class will have a patriotic/red, white and blue theme with five different cookie designs. The class is taught by Lisa Yakovich, a local cookier with 15 years of experience. She will answer any questions you have and offer tips and tricks along the way. You will learn the basics of decorating with royal icing, including icing consistencies, piping and flooding and the wet on wet technique. Everything you need will be provided: six large sugar cookies (lots of extras available), royal icing, practice sheets, decorations/sprinkles, tools, examples to see and taste, printed recipes and cute white bakery boxes to take your yummy creations home in. Grab a friend and join us for a creative night out with time to learn a new skill, visit and have fun!

Cancellation Policy

We depend on your enrollment for a successful class! Please plan your schedule carefully. Refunds are not issued when your request is less than 5 business days before the starting date of the class, and credits cannot be applied to a future class. Refund requests must be made in writing, via email, prior to 5 business days before the class start date. A $5 processing fee per activity for each person will be assessed. Sorry no refunds after 5 business days prior to the class start date. This is due to financial commitments we must make before activities begin. Refunds take approximately 7-10 days to process.
