Over the Top Backyard BBQ
Friday, 20 June 2025, 5:30-8:30 PM Pacific time Adults 18 and over Burgers are an American staple; they’re our simple and effective option when hosting a backyard BBQ, so how do we go over the top? We make EVERYTHING from scratch! In this class, guest chef, Connor Smith, will show you how to prepare ground beef, buns, aioli, and more from scratch. You will learn a quick and easy method to make ground beef at home, without necessitating all those grinding gadgets. We will show you how to make a simple aioli that can be a used on your burger, or as a base for delicious pasta salads, spreads, or anything else that calls for mayo. You will also make your own delicious burger buns, and you’ll be taking home some dough to use for your weekend. Elevate your backyard cookouts this summer, wow your friends and show up your relatives. Good times & BBQ vibes are what this class is all about! This meal can be modified to be celiac and vegetarian friendly, but not vegan friendly. Pasta Puttanesca
Friday, 27 September, 2024 @ 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Adults only 18 and up Have you ever wanted to make pasta at home, but it seemed like a huge undertaking, so you talked yourself out of it? This class, taught by Connor Smith, aims to teach you how easy, fun, and delicious handmade pasta can be. In teams of two (price per person, not team), you will be making, rolling, and cooking homemade pasta. To make a meal of it, we will also show you how to make a delicious puttanesca. We’ll toss your hard work with our pan sauce and finish the evening with dinner as a team. This meal is weekday friendly, able to come together in an hour with practice, and handmade pasta is a surefire way to impress guests at any dinner party!
