**No longer available** Wednesday, July 26, 2023, 4 pm - 6 pm When those sugar cravings hit, teens don't want to spend hours in the kitchen. They want it now! That's why we've created this cooking class & rounded up a whole bunch of fun, easy & quick desserts for teens to learn to make themselves. Chef Cathie will take your dessert-lovin teen thru a cool, hands-on kitchen course, requiring a few basic skills, and show him/her how to create several desserts like cookie dough dip, mini cheesecake bites, chocolate fruit dip & strawberry dessert nachos. Totally delish! Please bring your apron. Please Note: The class fee is per person. Kids should not be dropped off more than 10 minutes before class starts. -
Easter Wishes & Bunny Kisses Beginning Cookie Decorating Class
**SOLD OUT** Friday, March 29 2024, 6:00-9:00 Pacific Time Zone PM Adults 18+ and children 12 and over (with paid adult) $50 to register, plus an additional $10 supply fee due the night of class (cash only) Hop on into The Gifted Kitchen for some Easter fun! You will fall in love with cookie decorating at this Easter-themed cookie decorating class. No experience necessary. Taught by Lisa Yakovich, a cookier with over ten years of experience. You will learn the basics of decorating with royal icing: piping, flooding, wet on wet technique and stenciling. Everything you need will be provided: six sugar cookies (plus extras), royal icing, decorations, tools, examples to see and taste, printed recipes and cute white bakery boxes to take your yummy creations home in. Easy-Peasy, 4-Course, Weeknight Date Night!
**SOLD OUT** Friday February 4, 2022 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm Ages 18+ Traditionally, we don't think "easy weeknight" and "4-course" can inhabit the same culinary sentence, but this class will break those boundaries. In groups of two, you'll learn how to make a date night meal comprised of four simple yet unique dishes that are very fun to make together. Bring your mom, bring your bestie, bring your boyfriend, any and all are welcome. Valentines Day is coming up, and what better way to celebrate than to learn recipes with your special someone that you can make on the 14th? Join Connor Smith and learn to make an appetizer dip, a very fun spin on a side salad, a delectable savory pasta, and an oh-so-good chocolatey dessert. You'll also learn how to make one of three craft cocktails to enjoy with dinner (if 21 plus). Dietary and allergy considerations: one or more dishes contain dairy, gluten, egg, mushrooms, pork (omittable), and strawberries(omittable). Most can be avoided by skipping a dish or two; however, dairy will be difficult to avoid. Please Note: The class fee is per person. -

Join counselor, certified health coach and foodie Betty Hayes for a hands-on, two hour class to experience cooking healthy, whole, unprocessed foods that are tasty and easy to prepare. Betty will teach you how to get more vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, nuts, seeds and spices into your life that will help you create the energy and vitality you crave. We will start with a Mexican-inspired menu of small plates free of animal products, unhealthy fats and excess salt while creating several recipes that are healthy, filling, and best of all…a treat for your taste buds.
