In honor of summer time, join Chef Cathie for this flavorful cooking class using these favorite citrus fruits. You'll make several delicious & tangy recipes and learn why these luscious gems are called the secret ingredient of the sunny season. You'll create; chipotle lime shrimp tacos with chipotle lime sauce, teriyaki salmon bowls with lemon tahini sauce, lemon pistachio pasta, lemon and herb ricotta flatbread and key lime pie for dessert. Mediterranean Middle-East Masterpieces
Friday September 23 6 pm to 9 pm. Let us take you on a journey from Greece to Egypt. In teams of two, you will learn how to make 3 classics: Tzatziki, Hummus, and Falafel. All of which are perfect healthy options for your game-day cravings this football season, and we’ll provide some fun inspiration for the foods as well (Falafel burgers, yum!). As a bonus, we will also sail from Egypt to the Strait of Gibraltar, sending you home with a recipe for a Moroccan twist on India’s butter chicken. If you wish to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy, we suggest a fresh white such as Zinfandel, Sauv Blanc, or a fruity Pinot Gris; for red lovers a Grenache or Sangiovese; a dry Rose would also be wonderful!
